Tuena is a small settlement – not much more than a few houses and a general store – which was once a thriving mining community. The setting at the edge of the Blue Mountains and the Southern Tablelands makes it particularly beautiful in spring and autumn but pretty chilly in the Winter!

Each day the group helped with some forest clearing while collecting the nightly supply of firewood.
A few big meals cooked up around the fire.
Day trip to Burraga on Saturday to do a bit of exploring.
Some of the group went on to Trunky for a pub visit while some explored old mine site in Burraga & played on a few tracks.
Big night around the fire on Saturday night with a bit of a light show & some entertainment by some party goers.
Craig & I left on Sunday driving home on some nice back-roads thru Taralga, swallow tail pass & Canyonleigh. I think a good weekend enjoyed by nine cars that attended.
