I own a Suzuki Jimny JB74 2019 model.

This is my first 4wd I have owned and I got started into 4wding especially Suzuki’s when my husband got his Suzuki Sierra, ever since then its been like an addiction.

We loved heading out on weekends to explore our local area and tackle some tough tracks

And then the new Jimny was advertised to be released and when Jaycobe showed me I fell in love. I said I don’t know how I will afford it but I’m getting one when they come out, no questions asked!

We happened to be on a trip back from Coffs Harbour when we thought lets stop and test drive one. So we did at Port Macquarie and I fell in love all over again and decided to think about it on the way home, before we even reached home (Forster) I had already decided to put my deposit down.

I waited 9 months and I haven’t regretted it since.

It hasn’t taken long to build my 4wd to where it is today, but that’s because there’s so much more to come yet, so far its got an AFN bull bar and side bars, Stedi Spotlights, some cheap roof racks, a XTM single rear draw on a custom built frame by my husband Jaycobe and some radius arm cups/guards

My best mod would have to be my spotlights, living in a rural area they are great to avoid the wildlife at night.

And my worst would be the side bars as they were an absolute pain to put on and needed modification and also they don’t have much clearance.

Picking my best 4wding trip is way too hard, from the Suzuki meet at Belangalo to all the other club trips I just can’t pick!

Hobbies I have other then 4wding is anything crafty, sewing, painting etc

And what keeps bringing me back to the Illawarra Suzuki Club is how welcoming everyone is, how they all encourage you to give things a shot when your new or nervous, yet don’t push you or judge if you decide to take the easy track.

All the members are so friendly and help in anyway needed, its just such a great feeling to be part of a group of people with the same interests as you.
